Freelance HR Legal Expert

Legal Staffing Experts is looking for a Freelance HR Legal Expert for her client.

Brussels - 3 months – 60% or 3/5.
Start date: as soon as possible


Description
As a legal advisor, you will support our client’s management and responsibility centres in Belgium.
- You advise them in the field of employment and social security law, answer their legal questions and provide clear and concrete studies to support this advice, without losing sight of the company's strategy.
- You support our client’s Executive Board and contact persons, also in their contacts with supervisory authorities and trade associations.
- You also prepare the legal aspects of files and participate in certain meetings of the consultation bodies.
- You are also, in collaboration with the other members of the team, guardian of compliance with compliance rules (GDPR, internal control)
- You manage and follow up on disputes and procedures relating to the liability of a group company. You do this in close collaboration with the lawyers representing the company.
- Finally, you will also maintain contacts with professional associations and follow legal news closely. In this way, you develop a bank of information and documentation that the group can use to adapt its initiatives.


Your Profile

• You have a master’s degree in law;
• You have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the field;
• Experience in employment and labour law;
• You are fluent in Dutch and French and have a good knowledge of English;
• You are familiar with IT tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
• You are a team player, have a sense of contact and you are pragmatic;
• You have a structured approach and you are able to set priorities and meet deadlines;
• You are able to work in great autonomy while being a team player;
• You like to share your knowledge and experience.
