Legal Staffing Experts is looking for a Contract Manager for her client in Hoboken / Arendonk.

Your main tasks
You will be responsible for contract management from the moment a contract is signed.
Once the contract is signed, you start reading and analyzing the contract and other project documents. You analyse the entire contract thoroughly and examine from the beginning how best to overcome certain clauses. A proactive approach is required.
You monitor the contractual obligations of a project and advise the project team in this line. You identify and you advise for potential variations and claims. In other words, you anticipate potential contractual variances and opportunities, and you perform an advisory function to the Project Manager.
You attend internal and external meetings and ensure that agreements are recorded. In addition, you inform the parties involved.
You advise procurement in negotiations with the client, suppliers and contractors. In doing so, you support the preparation of contacts.
In addition to contractual data, commercial expectations also play a role in fulfilling your role as Contract Manager.
Thanks to your strategic thinking, you think about how to approach things.
Together with the project team you are co-responsible for a successful project end.
Your profile
You have a Master in Law degree or experience within contract management (within industrial (offshore) construction projects).
You have a very good knowledge of English and Dutch (oral and written).
You have knowledge of typical contract forms used in the offshore construction world, such as FIDIC.
You are eager to learn and has a keen interest in the construction world.
You are stress resistant, accurate and has an eye for detail.
You are commercially minded, customer focused and has a winner's mentality.
you work independently and proactively.
you are open to travel to the other clients' sites if necessary.
