Role Overview:
The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Clients information security program. This includes protecting the organization's information assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (including potential NIS2 implementation), and mitigating security risks. The CISO will work closely with senior leadership to align security initiatives with business objectives.
As part of our ongoing commitment to excellence, we are also exploring the possibility of implementing the NIS2 directive.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive information security strategy that aligns with the Clients goals and objectives.
• Lead efforts related to the potential implementation and compliance with the NIS2 directive.
• Manage and enhance the organization’s cybersecurity framework, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee security operations, including monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate potential threats.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and contractual security requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of security awareness and best practices.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of the information security program.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CISO or in a senior information security role.
• In-depth knowledge of information security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Familiarity with the NIS2 directive and experience in its implementation is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
