Description

Our client is currently looking for a full time Freelance Public Procurement Buyer to support its Procurement department with the expertise in category management and public tenders as well as all activities linked to public buyer procedures and it's compliance.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Procurement in Public Tendering process by:
  • Assume all task of a Category Buyer: guarantee, plan and optimize purchasing procedures while maintaining a pragmatic and global vision of markets, contracts, and purchases in order to guarantee efficient and continuous supply to the demand.
  • Supervise and support procurement procedures guaranteeing a smooth running of public procurement procedures (compliance with regulations and process, respect for deadlines, etc.) in order to obtain an efficient purchase.
  • Supervise and support the IT Services Contract setup.
  • Supervise and support the execution of service contracts.
• Assist fellow team members with their ongoing procedures.
• You handle all incoming questions in support of public tenders
• You follow up orders, monitor delivery & compliance

Your profile

• + 5 years of experience in public procurement
• Expert knowledge of Public Procurement, Public Tenders
• Expert in ICT Services
• Very good knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on the human aspect: training & coaching
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills
• Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines
• Language: English, French and Dutch is a plus.
