📄 Your role
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead the evaluation and enhancement of clients' existing Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) processes.
- Develop and implement robust and comprehensive cybersecurity policies and procedures for clients.
- Oversee and lead comprehensive risk assessment initiatives, identifying and addressing potential IT and cybersecurity risks.
- Ensure client compliance with a range of cybersecurity standards and regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, NIS2, and DORA.
- Manage and direct the preparation of detailed reports and documentation for client audits and compliance reviews.
- Act as a key advisor to clients in promoting advanced cybersecurity awareness and best practices within their organizations.
- Design and lead cybersecurity training programs for client employees, tailoring content to various levels of technical understanding.
- Develop and implement a strategic security roadmap for clients, focusing on long-term security maturity and resilience.
- Guide clients in elevating their security posture, implementing best practices and advanced security technologies to improve overall security maturity.
- Commit to continuous professional development to remain at the forefront of cybersecurity trends and regulations.
👥 Your Profile
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Security certifications like CISM, CISSP, Security+ , CISA or others are a plus. Willingness to get certified.
- Extensive knowledge of IT and cybersecurity principles, with a strong background in implementing security measures.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity, with a focus on GRC and cybersecurity policy development.
- Expertise in cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, NIS2, and DORA, with a track record of applying these in practical settings.
- Significant experience in IT, with a deep understanding of processes and challenges in enterprise environments.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and offer solutions.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing at all organizational levels and leading cross-functional teams.
- A demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning in the field of cybersecurity and GRC.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively, manage client relationships, and lead complex projects.
- Fluent in Dutch and English
